Grandma’s Sauerkraut

INGREDIENTS:

1 bag of sauerkraut (1 lb.)

1 small   red onion

2  slices    bacon

1/4    roasted red pepper

1 c.  water

pinch   of caraway seeds

1 Tbsp.  garlic expressions

little whipping cream

little flour

DIRECTIONS:

1.  In a medium size saucepan add garlic expressions, bacon, and red onion. 

2.  Cook over medium heat until light brown.

3.  Add sauerkraut, caraway seeds, and water cook for 10 minutes.

4.  Add roasted red pepper and 1/2 c. water.

5.  In a glass cup mix together 1 part water, 1 part whipping cream, 1 part flour.

6.  Add to sauerkraut stir and cook for 3 more minutes.

7.  Serve with pork.
